Ancient Wisdom for a New Year

As we make plans and decisions about the New Year and our life in general... what could help us in making good decisions?  We've all made some bad even dumb decisions.  No matter who you are, this is something we all have in common.  Purchases we wish we hadn't made, loans we regret signing up for, people we wish we hadn't dated and the list goes on.  In some cases the consequences of these decisions are disastrous, marriages we shouldn't have entered into, emotions we wished we would've controlled, or drugs we wished we wouldn't have tried.  Everybody has made choices they wish they could go back and undo.

Sometimes it’s easier to see when someone else is about to make a bad decision.  It’s obvious.  But when it’s up close and personal the issues can get foggy.  What if we could see a little more clearly before we make our decisions?   In the next several weeks together we will see that wisdom is the key to fool proofing ourselves against bad decisions.  It’s not enough to know a little about the Bible.  When it comes to sorting out all of the complexities of each unique situation we face... only wisdom can reveal the best path.
